Labial Rejuvenation
With Laser Therapy
Labial Rejuvenation
Let’s face it, ladies! We all care about how every part of our bodies looks. Unfortunately, as women age, we age from head to toe. And this includes the most intimate part of the body - the outer part of the vagina (the labia/vulva, aka “lips”). So, as the skin ages, it loses its elasticity causing feelings of looseness. As a result, sexual relationships suffer, and self-image declines.
How Does diVaTyte™ Help?
The diVaTyte™ laser vaginal therapy system provides results that will significantly impact our patient's lives and give you a renewed sense of confidence. In fact, the treatment is safe, gentle, and effective. We achieve dramatic results far beyond what many women imagine possible. So, whether you are seeking vulva rejuvenation after experiencing changes caused by childbirth or have simply entered a period of life where the natural aging process has taken its toll, Dr. Russo will offer you a safe and effective solution.
Do You Have a Hormone Imbalance?
Hormonal imbalance is extremely common in women. Unfortunately, it’s often overlooked, and the effects are wrongly attributed to other causes. Some common signs of hormone imbalance in women include:
- Weight gain or loss
- Acne
- Menstrual cycle problems
- Menopause symptoms
- Depression and anxiety
- Mood swings
- Dry skin
- Thinning hair
- Low libido
- Pain during intercourse
How Do We Treat Female Hormone Imbalance?
Dr. Russo started Essenza Health because she wasn’t feeling like herself and needed something to change. She was Patient One, as we like to say. So, she knows exactly how you’re feeling and has built her entire practice around helping others feel better just as she did for herself.
The Essenza Team begins all treatments with comprehensive lab work that can help identify specific imbalances. This, combined with the patient’s health history and symptoms, allows us to create a custom treatment plan. Once that plan is in motion, we will closely monitor progress and make any adjustments needed to optimize results and get you back to being you.
FAQs About diVaTyte™
What should I expect during the treatment with diVaTyte™?
diVaTyte™ laser energy is conveyed in a sequence of rapid pulses of light and heat that gently warms the skin of the labial/vulva (aka lips). Treatment times generally take between 10 and 20 minutes in order to ensure uniform application to the treatment area.
What should I expect immediately after the treatment?
Sensations of warmth fade almost immediately after treatment, though some patients may experience mild redness in the treatment area. However, normal skin color typically returns quickly, usually within a few minutes to an hour. In some cases, the skin may swell slightly as the water in the tissue is heated; but this type of swelling is normal and is referred to as “happy edema,” as it provides clear indication that the tissue is reacting.
Is there any post-treatment care required?
diVaTyte™ is a non-invasive treatment, which means that regular activities including bathing and sexual intercourse may be resumed immediately following the treatment. Any necessary avoidance of activity in particular cases will be up to the assessment of the practitioner.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments necessary for full efficacy may vary, depending on the level of improvement desired. Typical treatment plans require 3 to 5 treatment sessions. We recommend you space them at 2 to 3-week intervals.
What results should I expect to achieve?
diVaTyte™ results often vary, though the diVaTyte™ treatment is extremely effective for patients who desire mild to moderate levels of noticeable improvement in their skin without the need for surgery. Always discuss expectations for improvement levels and goals with a practitioner prior to treatment to better understand the results you can expect personally. As the body’s process to remodel tissue takes time to strengthen that lax and sagging skin, full results can often take up to four months.
